OmugwoCare is for mothers and families who want to prepare for life after birth with more support, more clarity, and less isolation.

Black, culturally diverse, rural, and underserved families

What Mothers Receive

Through OmugwoCare, mothers can receive help building a 40-Day Mother Care Plan that centers rest, nourishment, practical help, family roles, and support needs.

Mothers can also join the waitlist, request caregiver matching, invite their Family Care Circle, identify support priorities, and connect with OmugwoCare when referral resources may be needed.

What Families Can Help With

Family members often want to help but may not know what kind of help matters most.

OmugwoCare helps families organize support around tasks such as meals, laundry, dishes, groceries, visitor boundaries, sibling support, emotional encouragement, appointment reminders without medical advice, and helping the mother protect rest.

How the Family Care Circle Works

The Family Care Circle is the mother’s support network.

Each person in the circle can have a role. One person may help with meals. Another may help with laundry. Another may check in by phone. Another may support older children. Another may help coordinate visitors.

What Caregiver Matching Means.

Caregiver matching means OmugwoCare helps review requests for trained non-medical support caregivers who can assist with practical postpartum support.

Matching may consider location, language, availability, household needs, support priorities, and family preferences.

Caregivers do not provide medical care, nursing care, therapy, diagnosis, emergency services, or clinical monitoring.

What OmugwoCare Does Not Provide

OmugwoCare is not a medical provider, home health agency, nursing service, therapy provider, diagnostic tool, emergency service, clinical monitoring service, or replacement for licensed providers.
OmugwoCare does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, nursing care, emergency response, or therapy.
