Trust Comes First

OmugwoCare supports mothers and families during a deeply personal season of life.
That means trust must come first.
OmugwoCare is designed to collect only the information needed to support care navigation, caregiver matching requests, app updates, pilot coordination, service improvement, and communication with families, caregivers, partners, and employers.

We Keep the Mother at the Center

OmugwoCare is mother-first.
The goal is not to turn postpartum support into a cold data system.
The goal is to help mothers build their village, create a 40-Day Mother Care Plan, organize support, request caregiver matching when available, and receive practical non-medical support.

Data Minimization

OmugwoCare should only collect information that is reasonably needed for the stated purpose.

Forms should not collect:

  • Social Security numbers
  • Payment card information unless payment processing is intentionally added later
  • Diagnosis information
  • Medication information
  • Medical records
  • Detailed infant health information
  • Emergency details
  • Sensitive health information through general contact forms

Privacy and Consent

OmugwoCare uses consent-based communication.

  • Contact OmugwoCare
  • Request support
  • Ask privacy questions
  • Request account deletion

Human Review

OmugwoCare should keep human review in important support workflows.
Caregiver matching, support navigation, referral suggestions, and pilot reporting should be designed with human oversight.
Technology should support the mother and the care team. It should not replace judgment, compassion, family communication, or licensed professional care.

Non-Medical Scope

OmugwoCare provides non-medical postpartum support and care navigation.
OmugwoCare is not a medical provider, home health agency, nursing service, therapy provider, diagnostic tool, emergency service, clinical monitoring service, or replacement for doctors, nurses, doulas, lactation consultants, therapists, hospitals, or licensed providers.
